Every day at Funville Childcare is filled with opportunities for children to learn, explore, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment. Our daily routine provides a healthy balance of structured activities, free play, and rest time to support each child’s development.
Morning Arrival/Free Play & Home-Cooked Breakfast
Children are welcomed into a warm and friendly environment where they can start their day with free play. This time allows children to explore toys, connect with friends, eat a scrumptious meal to fuel their brains and transition comfortably into the day.
Circle Time & Learning Activities
We gather for circle time to sing songs, read stories, and introduce the day’s theme or activity. Children are introduced to early learning concepts such as letters, numbers, colors, and shapes in fun and engaging ways.
Sensory Play & Hands-On Exploration
Our sensory play stations encourage open-ended exploration and creativity. Activities may include sensory bins, art projects, building activities, or themed learning experiences that help develop fine motor skills and creativity.
Outdoor Play & Physical Activity
Children enjoy time outside where they can run, climb, and explore. Outdoor play helps build physical strength, coordination, and confidence while giving children an opportunity to connect with nature.
Home-Cooked Lunch & Social Time
We enjoy nutritious home-cooked meals together while practicing important social skills such as conversation, manners, and independence.
Rest & Quiet Time
Children have time to rest and recharge in a calm environment. Quiet activities are also available for children who do not nap.
Afternoon Activities & Enrichment
The afternoon includes creative play, themed activities, and special experiences such as in-house field trips, crafts, or group games that encourage teamwork and imagination.
Pick-Up & Family Connection
At the end of the day, we share highlights from your child’s day, so families stay connected to their child’s learning and experiences at Funville.

From interactive science demonstrations, engaging show and tell, visits from Santa himself along with a live reindeer! Each in-house field trip is designed to inspire curiosity, learning, and fun.
